Senior IT Systems Administrator, Systems Supervisor / Team Leader, LAN/WAN, Windows 2000/2003 Server, Windows XP, MS Office, (AS400 desirable), Telford, Shropshire. A brand new opportunity has arisen with a leading International manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide day-to-day supervision of a small IT team supporting around 300 users. The task will be to lead a team responsible for the configuration, installation and maintenance of various technologies in line with business requirements. The role will be varied and hands-on with responsibility covering desktop PC's, Server, Network Equipment, Software Applications, Security Cameras / Systems, Hardware and Peripherals. You will also be required to create and maintain good technical control and documentation in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

We are seeking applications from candidates with a strong IT systems administration background and proven supervisory/team leading/management experience. Your technical expertise must include a solid understanding of LAN/WAN, Windows 2000/2003 Server, Windows XP, MS Office, Routers, Switches and Firewalls. Any previous exposure to AS400 would be highly advantageous but is not essential. You will be a good communicator with the ability to get the best out of a team and lead by example.
